My story continued....

The Industry Awakening

After leaving, I tried to fix the system from another angle. At DMEXCO in Cologne, I saw the future of digital advertising and it terrified me. Working with Dr. Augustine Fou, one of the world's leading experts on bot traffic analytics, I learned that over 50% of digital traffic is fake. We're not just manipulating humans, we're paying to manipulate bots.

At Cannes Lions 2025, I sat in room after room of executives celebrating new ways to monetize every moment of human attention. While they celebrated "innovation," young people are experiencing a mental health crisis directly linked to information overload.

The Moment of Clarity

I've lived 15 years in the Danish countryside without television, prioritizing inner peace over constant stimulation. That choice taught me something profound: when you control your information diet, you control your mental state.

But young people today don't have that luxury. They're born into digital chaos, bombarded with notifications designed to hijack their attention. They use "Do Not Disturb" as their default setting because they can't handle the noise.

That's when it hit me: What if technology actually cared how you felt before showing you anything?

The Vision: Feedtory

Feedtory isn't another app - it's a digital concierge that asks, "Good morning, what should your digital intake look like today?" before delivering any content. Feeling anxious? You get only positive, calming updates. Energized? Here are the exciting brand drops you actually want to see. Focused on work? Minimal notifications, maximum respect for your time.

This is the opposite of everything I built before. Instead of capturing attention, we protect it. Instead of overwhelming users, we serve only what they explicitly want, when they want it, how they want it.

Taking Digital Power Back

The first 10,000 people to join Feedtory will get lifetime free access - not because we need beta testers, but because they're pioneers in a digital wellness revolution. For too long, technology companies have stolen our attention, manipulated our emotions, and sold our data. The "Taking Your Digital Power Back" campaign marks the end of that era.

Why This Terrifies Me (And Why I'm Doing It Anyway)

My instincts tell me this could be the next big thing, and no one is seeing it coming. That terrifies me because I know what happens when you threaten billion-dollar business models built on attention capture. But I've seen the machine from the inside. I've watched it harm young people's mental health for profit. I can't unsee that.

The Choice

We're at a crossroads. We can continue building technology that serves shareholders at the expense of human flourishing. Or we can build technology that serves humanity. I choose humanity.

Sustainability
We didn’t set out to build a sustainability tool. But when you reduce noise, you also reduce energy waste. Feedtory cuts down on the endless pings, the server loads, the background processes, and with that, comes a quieter, more conscious form of digital consumption

Feedtory represents so more than a "business opportunity" to me - it's a moral imperative.
It's time to take our digital power back.

With LOVE, Victoria
